Shae-Lee's Women's AFL Tour in USA

I have been selected in a squad of 30 female AFL players from around Australia to represent Aussie Sparks for the inaugural women’s Australian Rules Football tour heading to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and USAFL Nationals in San Diego led by AFL Level 3 High Performance Coach Nicole Graves, with AFLW mentor coaches Jacinda Barclay of Greater Western Sydney Football Club and Kara Donnellan of Fremantle Football Club.
This is a once in a life time opportunity to spend 2 weeks in America with some amazing people while gaining knowledge and experience in football, this will also give me more skills both as a player and a coach. Obviously this incredible opportunity comes at a cost and any donations big or small will help my journey and is much appreciated!

Some information on our tour:
Aussie Sparks are working closely with the USAFL to create this experience in California, in San Francisco and Los Angeles we will participate in games/trainings with local California clubs. At USAFL Nationals in San Diego, we will do a clinic for local school girls, play support roles for the competing U.S. women’s footy teams at nationals, play an exhibition game amongst ourselves for the US crowd, and finally playing a game against a specially selected American team on the final day.
The idea is to help our players understand the physical and mental commitment necessary to be a great football player and create a strong team culture. All this will happen against the backdrop of well-run international trip designed to make a positive, life-affirming impact on all involved. Sightseeing and cultural experiences will also play a part, but the purpose of the tour is football and everything will unfold in that context.
