As we prepare for our non-traditional life off-grid in the high mountains of Colorado, we look to your help for our non-traditional wedding registry. We have decided that it will only consist of one item: our new Massey Furguson 1742 Tractor. We purchased it back in November, and have a monthly payment of roughly $400. All that we ask for as gifts from our friends and family are donations to help us pay down what we owe on this new addition to the family.
We know that many of you may be tempted to purchase us more traditional items, but we sincerely request that you do not, as we are downsizing in our move into the mountains. We have been endowed over the years by our families, who have bequeathed us with many household items and appliances. It's already been difficult to decide who's china set we need to keep at the property, and we currently own three between us! Additionally, we will be living off of a limited power supply (via solar and wind) that will making using traditional appliances difficult.
We hope you'll appreciate the thought that has gone into this registry and we're excited to see you all in May for a grand party!
