Unexpected medical bill

I'm humiliated, embarrassed, humbled and this is very hard for me to ask for personal help. 

The past several years have proved to be a very challenging time in my life, losing my husband, and best friend, has taught me that life is very short, and to never take anything for granted. I never thought at all about my own mortality. I've always been pick up the pieces and carry on. 
I taught my self to give back to society as much as I can, and to help those less fortunate along the way.  That's just the nature of my core being. 

The day I was diagnosed with skin cancer, I felt everything was manageable and everything would turn out fine. 

It wasn't until an emergency appendectomy in the middle of the night that life drastically changed and its been a full front line battle.

I was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, it started from a mole on my inner thigh, that was never bothersome or changed, under the skin it was growing and made its way into my lymphatic system. I'm on a daily regimen of oral chemotherapy and have infusions once per week. 

After a PET scan a tumor was discovered, behind my nasal cavity. I was instructed/recommended to see a specialist dealing with head and neck surgeries specializing in cancer. As this type of surgery can be very complicated and have long term effects, memory loss being the main factor.

I have had several surgeries already to remove tumors and ongoing cryo surgeries, have cancer spreading throughout my body, in my knee joints, and lungs.

My next surgery is forthcoming, meeting with surgeon July 26, at this point in time, im not sure that I will be having surgery. 

The unexpected $29,677.85 bill set me back and has just overwhelmed me in my current state of mind.

I am ashamed that I am asking for financial help,  I just didn't expect a $30,000 bill for consultation, radiology, ct/mri/pet scans.
