Hi everyone, we are Stefano and Scilla, 39 and 27 years old, we come from Italy and we currently live and work in Paris.
We're about to start a project involving our greatest passions, photography, writing, anthropology and foreign languages.
This project consists in a journey from Paris to South-Eastern Asia (maybe beyond if we're lucky), through the Mediterranean Sea, Middle East, CIS, and India.
We will approach the simplest (though longest) ways to reach our destinations, by foot, local trains, bikes, whatever we will find.
We will minutely describe to you the cities and towns we will approach, their habits, stories, learn their languages and much more.
We will pass by some "dangerous countries", like Syria, Lebanon, Ukraine, that will be difficult, we know...
The material we will use during this trip, as in the photo are:
- Fuji X100
- Fuji X20
- Rolleicord III from 1920 with some film (b/w - color)
Don't worry, we're not asking you support for our planes, hotel rooms and restaurant meals.
In fact, there will be none.
We are travellers, not tourists, supporting us will mean helping us through this deep research trip.
Following the Rewards Levels, You will be mentioned in our final works and you will have our eternal gratitude (and a drink when we get back home)
