After some long, trying weeks it is with sadness that I share that my closest friend Krista Teigland has been diagnosed with Peritoneal Mesothelioma. For those of you that know her you know that she is an EXTRAORDINARY human being.  She is loving, caring, smart, cheerful, unbelievably strong and always puts her family and friends first. 


There are still many unknowns surrounding this diagnosis. Krista and her family are working with oncologists to determine the best course of action and set up plans for the next steps. At this time there are not many conclusive details but more to follow.


There will soon come a time where she will, at least temporarily, not be able to work.  Short term disability unfortunately does not provide full pay. Some of her medical expenses are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, money may get tighter and tighter.  


Krista is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and is always there to give her love and support or the shirt off her back to anyone that needs it. We ask - anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.  Everything we can do to help and surround her with love is what is most important so she can focus on beating this thing.
