Two high school students, Olivia Millar and Marissa Booker, are organizing a Southern Girls' Convention (SGC) in Louisville, Ky this summer. The SGC will empower women through speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Various projects are in the works to raise funding for a venue and to provide food at the convention, as well as to keep the ticket prices as low as possible.
