Dear Sfoglia Friends & Family,
Last week we closed our doors for the immediate future, to help do our part in curbing the outbreak.
It felt helpless, scary and certainly surreal. We entertained multiple scenarios and floated panic stricken ideas. But the one thing we all realized clearly: This is going to be tremendously impactful on each employee and their families' livelihoods across our industry, stretching even beyond the current pressure of the global and nationwide struggle currently raging.
The closing of Sfoglia has abruptly halted each and everyone of our 35 employees' income. The very same smiles that greet you, the hands (thoroughly washed) that cook your dinners, makes your drink... it was done in one fell swoop.
Today, it is our unexpected turn to ask for your help. To request a "last minute seat" at your table. To call upon that special favor.
We humbly ask you to please help us support and supplement all of our employees wages by making a donation.
100% of the donations will be dedicated to the staff members, which I will personally be handling.
All donations will be withdrawn by me and distributed to all of our employees, to provide them with the much needed additional income as we all wait to resume business as normal.
Sfoglia has been invested in helping our community and neighborhood thrive, enjoy and create memories for the past 15 years. We create in passion and deliver with love.
