This 17 year old young man has been battling Ewing's Sarcoma (bone cancer) since 2014. Gilbert (Jr) was in remission for over a year but unfortunately the cancer came back in 2016. He has been through chemotherapy, radiation, stem cell transplant, and many blood transfusions. He has endured biopsies, X-rays and scans as well. The cancer spread to different areas. on Sunday August 6th, his body was tired and gave up, but his soul left his body and he is not suffering anymore. His family is very proud of his accomplishments and his courage to fight this disease.
