Hi, my name is August, I'm 20 and I'm finally starting my top surgery journey to help my dysphoria and begin a life in a body that is truly mine.

I am hoping to raise £9,000 for the consultation process, the surgery and my aftercare, so that I can be safe financially and physically. This has to all be done privately as the NHS Healthcare would mean I would have to wait 5 years just for a consultation. With your help, I can have this all done and be fully recovered by 2026 latest.

I am a 20 year old trans non-binary person living in London. With the costs of living I am currently working two jobs as well as being an Actor and a Musician. Top surgery has been something I have been wanting for more than two years but my financial situation has always hindered me, which is why I have started this gofundme.

There is not much representation out there for people like me so it took a really long time to stop feeling like I was an imposter. However, I have now never felt so confident about who I am and how I feel about my identity, so top surgery is something I want and need more than ever.

This is not a decision that was made lightly and I have taken very careful consideration and am completely aware of the permanence of it. If you were in my shoes, you would see how much this surgery would change my life.

Because of my chest, I cannot look at myself in the mirror, I feel uncomfortable in almost all of my clothes, I am constantly aware of my shirts clinging to my chest, I hate pictures being taken of me etc. As you can see, there is not a second in the day where I am not constantly aware and uncomfortable about my chest.

Therefore, with all that said, I would massively appreciate your support in any way. Whether you can donate (any amount - nothing is too small) or you can only support by sharing and spreading the word (because of cozzy livs), I will love you forever if I don't already.
