Sewing To Save

This group is for those who are sewing surgical masks for our first responders, caretakers and local hospitals. The masks are now being supplied to Morton Hospital, South Shore Hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, area nursing homes and veterans’ hospitals and police and fire departments and many more. Requests are still coming in. This is an opportunity to pool our resources and help get these out as quickly and as organized as possible! **We are focusing on Boston and Southern Massachusetts at the moment as that's where we're located.**
Sewing to Save is in desperate need of more assistance. The group is seeking sewers and monetary donations and raw materials. These include 100 percent cotton or cotton flannel, all purpose thread of any color, elastic- 1/4 inch flat elastic, braided/corded, elastic head bands, as well as bandanas that can be used as head wraps. We can't stop, we can make a difference!
