Seward Block Club Fundraiser!

Donation protected
The Seward Block Club is approaching it's 1 year anniversary! We held our first meeting in January of this year. Since then, we have had to roll with the punches and adapt quickly in order to continue engaging with one other during the pandemic.
From June through October, we held monthly distanced meetings outdoors, conducted neighborhood cleanups, and hosted a small, outdoor neighborhood Flea Market. (For obvious health and safety reasons, we have transitioned to Zoom meetings during the cold months.)

With new development taking place rapidly throughout New Center and the North End, as well as nearly half a dozen large scale residential developments in progress on our street, it is a very pivotal time on Seward Ave. It is crucial that Seward residents have a voice amidst these changes and that the vibrant cultural integrity of this incredible street be protected at all costs.

We have so many plans and ideas to make our street a more engaged, safe, and fun place to live and we would love your help!

Some of our goals for next year include:
Seward Ave Neighborhood Signs!!!
Traffic Safety improvements (ie: speed bumps, crosswalks, speed monitoring)
Benches - At our THREE bus stops, for the elderly, and as a place to gather in the warmer months as there is nowhere on the street to sit except at The Sharing Table.
Garbage Cans - There are none currently present on Seward
More programming (when feasible and safe)

On Giving Tuesday, help us establish our presence as a group of residents who care about their neighborhood and the people in it!

With love,
The Seward Block Club!
