Sewage Backflow Repair Fund

Hello all, this GoFundMe is for the benefit of Renee Nelson and Michael Gray, and our extended family of pets including Tito the pug, Max the tortoise, and various freshwater fish. On May 11th the rains in Arlington, in addition to a blockage in the city's main sewage line blocks away, caused 18,000+ gallons of sewage and rain back flow to burst the sewer drain pipe in the crawlspace of our home.
Since then we have been unable to get the repairs started due to opposing liability opinions with the City of Arlington. Today, Monday May 20th, our claim was rejected because the broken pipe is on private property, even though it was the city's sewage moving in the opposite direction that caused thousands of gallons to fill up our foundation's crawlspace.
We are devastated. This our first house and it has been uninhabitable for the last week. Many of you have expressed a desire to help, so we have set up this fund so you can. Thank you for your friendship, compassion and support. We are now working a plan so we can move back in, get back to work and back to the people and things we love.
