Sew For Love

Please support our efforts to provide HOME MADE  items for over 30 local charities/ shelters.  When Sew For Love was born in the  year 2000 we made 3 items today we makeover  24 different items.  Some are: Pocket love animals, quilts, tote bags, pet beds, wheel chair bags, hospice bears and pillows and of course the Cubie Cushion (cushion for kids to sit on and read) made of all the recycled threads, fabrics and batting pieces that would end up in land fill.   The skill of sewing or non sewing volunteers is great needed for the  many things we make daily, please volunteer to help.   
Sew For Love program has received: (Spirit Award )from the American Sewing Guild, (The Unique Award) from Girls scouts,  (Jefferson Award) from KPIX.  The recognition to all the silent volunteers is much appreciated in receiving the awards. However the  awards  don't come with money.  Monetary donations are needed to keep this program sewing on and on.
