We are in a dangerous situation where our healthcare heroes are fighting a war against the Coronavirus without armor. For months, doctors, nurses and first responders who are working selflessly around the clock to save lives have been doing so without enough protection for themselves. They are forced to wear disposable masks for entire days that should be worn one time per patient. If they fall ill, who will care for them?
Our fight against COVID-19 is at a crucial point and we are all in a position to help. We have been working tirelessly with a team of professional seamstresses along with experts in the medical field to create a solution. We are utilizing PM2.5 filters and specialized surgical material to construct our masks to provide additional protection in the forms of thousands of mask covers for our first responders.
If you’re able to sew or to make a contribution so that we can buy more cloth and materials for our masks, you are able to help stop this problem. A $1 donation can supply a mask filter that provides over double the protection you get from fabric alone. I am working with professional seamstresses to get fabric masks into their hands as well. In addition to that, we are working with experts in the field of 3d printing.
Our goal is for every hero to have a N95 mask and the essential tools to care for their patients and themselves. We can do this together.
