Seventh Cancer Diagnosis

Dear Community,
My mom (Mae Goodridge) was once again diagnosed with lung cancer this week.
This is her 7th Cancer diagnosis; 2004 Esophageal Cancer, 2007 Breast Cancer, 2014 Lung Cancer, 2016 Cancer (tumor on the brain), 2016 Lung Cancer (tumor near the spine), 2017 Melanoma, 2018 Lung Cancer again.
Ironically, she has lived the most healthy lifestyle of anyone I know with her diet, exercise and spiritual practice.
She has fought every one of these Cancers like a warrior, and she intends to beat this last diagnosis too! Whether it has been recovering from surgery, chemo or radiation she has done it with grace and dignity.
Surgery is not an option for this last diagnosis -- only aggressive chemotherapy.
At the age of 77, my mom works two jobs to support herself and her ability to do that will be significantly impacted during these agressive chemotherapy treatments, which will start within the next two weeks.
To allow her to have one less thing to worry about, our goal is to raise $4,000 which will be just enough money to cover her living expenses for the next four months.
