I have started a nonprofit organization in Texas. The nonprofit is to benefit families and communities by empowering kids to prepare healthy meals. It is about connecting kids with where their food is produced and teaching kids how to prepare a healthy, delicious meal.
Our mission is to cultivate healthy change in eating by connecting kids to local farms and setting the table to inspire community, one family at a time. To fulfill on our mission we partner with local farms to offer two-hour field trips that include harvesting, educating on healthy eating, preparing a meal and enjoying the meal together as a community.
Funds raised will be used to 1) assist social groups, schools, after-schools programs, or other groups in paying for the cost of the field trip; 2) purchase field trip supplies such as cooking ingredients and cooking tools; and 3) purchase other items for operational support.
Please donate today! A donation of $25 will support one child in participating.
