<div>My name is Phil Seton. I am the team owner of the former Pole Factory Racing team. On 17th April just 2 weeks before the first round of 2024 UCI World Cup Downhill mountain bike racing, Pole bicycle company announced bankruptcy. As a result many customers were left without bikes they had paid for. I feel terribly sorry for all these people and we all hope a solution can be found to save the company and compensate its customers. My team did not get away unscathed either. None of the teams :- parts, testing, accommodation, travel, food bills etc were paid. My two riders Onni Rainio and Dan Slack were left with no wages or rides for the season. These two 22 year old riders have worked tirelessly over the whole of winter in preparation for the season. With only 2 weeks before the first race neither rider had a chance to get another ride for the 2024 season which would effectively finish their careers. I feel a huge commitment to these two super talented young riders so I took the decision to support them myself. I don’t feel it to be ethically correct to use Poles name with so many customers out of pocket so I have changed the name to Seton Tuning as it will be my company that will be supporting them from now on. We are a very small company with limited resources so the most I can support alone is the first 2 rounds of an 8 round season racing across Europe and into Canada. We have received a lot of moral support from the Pole community and it was put to me that I should start a go fund me page so individuals and companies alike could donate towards the team. I am desperate to give my two riders the chance they need so I have made this page for that reason. I really hope you understand what we are trying to achieve and want to support us on this journey.
