This past month, our good friend and brother, Seth Long, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. What he thought was simple back pain from exercising, turned out to be a malignant tumor on his left chest wall. Seth has been in and out of testing these past few weeks to determine the best method to tackle this cancer.  He begins chemotherapy this week and will undergo fourteen rounds of treatment, along with surgery in the coming months.

Seth is one of the hardest working individuals we know. He is the Treasurer of the G.E.R.M.A.N. Club of Virginia Tech, the Chief Executive Officer of Virginia Tech’s Commodity Investment Fund (COINS), and an extremely successful Business Information Technology student in the Pamplin College of Business. We know that Seth’s determination and positive mindset will allow him to persevere through these next few months of chemotherapy. We are looking to raise money for Seth and his family to cover medical costs through the duration of his treatment. No matter the size of the contribution, every bit of support is extremely appreciated.
