MARY MARIE'S STORY
My sister-in-law, Mary Marie, loved dogs, teddy bears (who doesn't) , and Michael Bolton (yes, Michael Bolton). She was always quick to smile and lent a hand to anyone in her wake.
Above all, Mary adored her 4 kids and 5 grandchildren—she relished every moment she shared with them.
Mary Marie had Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Though the disease could not take her smile or resolve, it did take a big chunk out of the quality of Mary’s life—constraining her to a nursing home for over 30-years.
After fighting as hard as she could for as long as she could, Mary took her last breath the other day.
WHY SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP
Mary Marie was not able to travel much (it’s not really an option when your body refuses to function). There were no trips oversees and but a couple stateside.
She did, however, have a chance to visit Hawaii before her disease took hold. She dreamed of returning one day. Her final request was that her kids spread her ashes over one of Hawaii’s beautiful beaches—where she could finally be free!
Sadly, after scraping together funeral expenses, Mary’s children do not have the funds to make the trip. They need your help to set Mary Marie free!
