The Stowe Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of a group of parents and teachers. Our goal is to continue to encourage and work with staff to identify and implement programs, activities or events that will enrich and/or support the curriculum using available PTO funds. In addition to these programs, PTO funds are also used for yearbooks, the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, and gifts for teachers that are retiring.
In the past PTO funds have been used for events and programs brought to the school such as Circus Smirkus, the musical instrument petting zoo, drumming ensembles, the science bus, dance ensembles and many other cultural events that support the unified arts programs.
If we can raise enough in the beginning of the year, we can turn our focus to providing great programs and community-building events. A few ideas that we have for this year are the much-loved Movie Nights, an International Dinner Night, a holiday craft-making event for kids, yoga before school, etc. This year we are finding that our funds are low and we are looking to reach our goal soon. Show your SES spirit and help us reach our goal! Any help is greatly appreciated!
