Hi friends and family,
My name is Jasmine Polk, and I’m a junior at UNC Chapel Hill, double-majoring in Biology and Medical Anthropology. This December, I’ll be traveling to Central America with the Vida Volunteer Medical Program to help provide free healthcare and education to families with limited access to medical services.
Over Christmas break, I’ll work alongside local doctors and other volunteers, setting up mobile clinics in schools and churches to bring care directly to the people who need it most. This isn’t just a trip for me—it’s a step toward my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor who serves communities that are often overlooked, both here at home and abroad.
I’m raising funds to help cover travel, lodging, and program costs. Any amount—$10, $25, $50, or more—brings me closer to making this possible. If you can’t give financially, sharing this link or sending encouragement means just as much.
Thank you so much for believing in me and supporting my journey to serve others through compassion and medicine.
With love and gratitude,
Jasmine Polk
