Jadden Needs Your Help we still want to get him his service dog and we need your help.

Instead of having the other page for raising the training funds we just decieded to update this page.

email for other funding options.

Jaddens Aneurysm was trapped and bypassed, April 8th. He is doing better, he just has memory issues.

Okay on Tuesday we had an Apt to see Dr. Kim about Jaddens Aneurysm which we found is worse that originally thought, and that Jadden has a damaged artery and will need a trapping and a bypass. Scary yes considering the Surgeon has not done this on a child.

Also Jadden has started his medication Topamax for his seizures. Everything else seems ok just moodiness, His next apt is 3/8 I hope I hear something happy.

02/18/2011 We found out that Jaddens Aneurysm is rare since Brain aneurysms are very rare in children. He will also have to have Surgery. He will have a CT soon to find out how it will be taken care of.

02/09/2011 After receiving the report I googled a few tings to find that he has glioma which is a tumor on the brain or spine. Along with aneurysm and partial and gerneral seizures. Which looks as though we will need to see about seizure training also.

02/07/2011 With helpfrom Shelley Allen @ http://www.sistechinc.com/ we just have to earn the funds for trainging to raise! Thank you Shelley!
Paula, Shelley S, Mandy and Manders All of us especially Jadden Appreciate you.

02/04/2011 NEW* Children s just gave update to Jaddens MRI he has blocked vessels in his brain and an aneurysm. We will be making more apt to meet with neurologist and neurosurgeon as well as something going on with optic nerve? Will find out more. Thank you.

01/20/2011 Children s called to let me know he had an Abnormal EEG Reading which shows seizures. Though they want an MRI done to check to make sure there is not something else like tumors.

We are on this site in hopes to raise money for a service dog for Jadden, Apparently service dogs are not cheap. After doing some reasearch we have found there are several foundations that can assist in this but you have to do fund raising. So here we are "throwing some pretty personal stuff to help Jadden get's the service dog that he needs."

Jadden was born 11/06/01 at 12lb 8oz. He was a few months old when we found out that he has Neurofibromatosis or NF1, "is a genetically-inherited disorder in which the nerve tissue grows tumors (i.e., neurofibromas) that may be benign or may cause serious damage by compressing nerves and other tissues. The disorder affects all neural crest cells (Schwann cells, melanocytes, endoneurial fibroblasts). Cellular elements from these cell types proliferate excessively throughout the body forming tumors; melanocytes also function abnormally in this disease resulting in disordered skin pigmentation and "cafe-au-lait" spots. The tumors may cause bumps under the skin, colored spots, skeletal problems, pressure on spinal nerve roots, and other neurological problems." <--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurofibromatosis .

There is a study in Canada for Scoliosis on children with NF, we have been part of this study for the last 3 years, this year will be his last year going to the study in Canada. We will find out more information when we get there which will be in Nov.

As well as having NF1, Jadden has been diagnosed with PDD, on the Autistic Spectrum, Jadden likes to run off if getting upset. I advies the school when Jadden started at Westgate Elementary that if he gets upset that he will run. I was told not to worry since the area is gated, I received a call stating Jadden had gotten past the gate and took off towards the road. Jadden can also have a huge episode ones that basically make him crash later from mental draining. After consulting his Dr. who agreed that a Service dog would be a good choice we began the research. Jadden also has been diagnosed with ADHD, and Newly Diagnosed Seizures.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is just re-posting to your friends and family.

Thank you

Lisa and Jadden.
