Psychiatric/Service Dog for Sofia

Dear Gofundme community,

My name is Sofia and I am 19 years old. I have been diagnosed with schwannomatosis (which in my case, is an inoperable brain tumor) that is located on the left side of my trigeminal nerve, which causes me to have trigeminal neuralgia (which is severe facial nerve pain). I am also blind from my left eye since November of 2016; doctors cannot find an explanation nor cure for this. I have three cardiac conditions (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a Patent Forament Ovale/Atrial Septal defect, and a teardrop heart shape), as well as Severe Fibromyalgia, Dysautonomia(Central nervous system issues), Myoclonus Seizures, and a sleep disorder where I can not achieve R.E.M (restorative) sleep. I've also been diagnosed with severe PTSD, depression, and anxiety which I have developed as a result of sexual assaults that I experienced at an early age. 

Due to all these conditions, I have been seeing many specialists including psychiatrists and psychologists (since I was 6 years old). 

I have been fortunate enough that Medicaid has covered my medical treatment and medications. Unfortunately, my family is in a very tough financial situation at the moment, so this is why I am appealing to the Gofundme community. My neurologist and psychiatrist are highly recommending that I get a service/psychiatric dog, which would help me with many of my medical problems. Unfortunately, we do not have the money to afford the cost and training of a hypoallergenic service/psychiatric dog which would be roughly around 6,500 dollars. Medicaid does not cover any of these costs.
