Serina Williams, found herself on 5/11/17 beginning her fifth battle with cancer, this time stage 4. True to her character smile, laughter and determination she simply powered up, prayed and put on her game face; but the battles have taken their toll.
Since August 5th, 2010 she's been through radiation twice, chemo 3 times and 17 surgueries. With grace and strength she continues to perservere, focused on inspiring and helping others, even in the middle of her own struggles. Struggles you'll never see on her face or hear from her directly. She walks with gratitude and celebration each day.
She's worked through every battle, showing up for work after treatments, working through the pain, paying out of pocket for everything not covered by her insurance. You can only imagine the medical bills and cost of treatments that have piled up. And the pain this time . . .
Serina gives everything she has to others. She shows up when others are sick, donates to cause after cause, has inspired hundreds with her drive, success, and bigger than life heart and passion. Her motto is "Live in Love". She believes that love paves the path to ease others. And she embody's this message, walking the talk. But this time it's our turn to pave a path of ease for her. To show up for Serina!
The Revolution indoor cycling studio will be donating $14 of every monthly unlimited membership to her medical bills and well being, and have developed a 501c3 Foundation in her honor. We are asking that you, too, help us give Serina more life in her days by donating as much as you can find in your heart!
