Three weeks ago, our family received some disheartening news: our dad had some nodules and a mass in his liver, lungs, and esophagus/stomach that the doctors were concerned about. After taking a closer look via more tests and a biopsy, he was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in his stomach/esophagus, with metastasis in other organs.
We are trusting and praying for a miracle, but we are determined to attack this illness with any and every weapon available to us.
Unfortunately, our parents do not have medical insurance, but God has opened a door at Oasis of Hope Hospital, where they have agreed to pursue an aggressive and rigorous treatment which includes chemotherapy, surgery, and several powerful therapies designed to strengthen his immune system and protect the unaffected organs.
If you are on this page, chances are that you know our father either professionally, through ministry, or as a close family member or friend. You know how strong his faith in Jesus is, and you know that God has already shown up in his life in an enormous way, when He healed him of Lupus around 15 years ago.
Similarly, you might already know that he has been a pillar of faith, and an exemplary honorable man, who has always worked hard for us and for many others.
Our father has always taught that giving is more important and better than receiving, and today he needs that which he has sown in us, which is why we dare ask for your help.
