Sergio's Surgery: Glioblastoma

January ends the month of hope, illusions and joys ... Of the future.
An uncertain future, where we deposit our dreams and desires.
And, my greatest desire is the full recovery of the health of Sergio Rabago Soto, my beloved nephew, who motivates my cause.
Sergio is a 17-year-old boy, he likes sports. Soccer is his favorite, a discipline he practices from an early age.
Last September they removed a tumor in my nephew's brain.
The medical diagnosis: Glioblastoma Multiforme.
It has been difficult months, and an overwhelming process. Unfortunately, there is a need for a second surgery and expensive treatments, due to complications of his illness.
His attitude, strength and determination in accepting his diagnosis inspires me.
I love his resilience and his empathy with life.
You will understand that it is not easy to address you. But, given the urgency of the case, and privileging Sergio's health I have decided not to cross my arms, and make use of this platform.
Our faith was tested.
God first. And, with your prayers, I trust we will testify to success
We are a working family ... fighting. Unfortunately the time factor, and the medical diagnosis does not favor us. That is why I appeal to your generosity.

Y, mi mayor anhelo es la recuperación plena de la salud de Sergio Rabago Soto, mi amado sobrino, quien motiva mi causa.
Sergio es un joven de 17 años, gusta del deporte. El futbol es su favorito, disciplina que practica desde temprana edad.
El pasado mes de Septiembre removieron un tumor en el cerebro de mi sobrino.
El diagnostico medico: Glioblastoma Multiforme.
Han sido meses difíciles, y un proceso agobiante. Lamentablemente surge la necesidad de una segunda cirugía y tratamientos costosos, debido a complicaciones de su enfermedad.
Su actitud, entereza y determinación al asumir su diagnostico me inspira a no quedar atrás, y agotar posibilidades a la par de un campeón.
Amo su resiliencia, su empatía con la vida. Su manera tan personal de conducirse.
Comprenderan que no es fácil dirigirme a ustedes. Pero, dado la premura del caso, y privilegiando la salud de Sergio he decidido no cruzarme de brazos, y hacer uso de esta plataforma.
Nuestra fe fue puesta a prueba.
