<div>The Severe Injury and Ongoing Battle

<div>Sergio suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in the incident. He was rushed to the hospital where he has remained in the neurological ICU and then the acute care unit, fighting with every ounce of his strength. His progress is measured in small, hard-won victories, and the doctors have told us that his recovery will be an incredibly long and challenging journey.

<div>He is still in the hospital, surrounded by the incredible medical team and his loving family, as he works tirelessly in his early stages of recovery. The road ahead is uncertain and will require extensive, specialized rehabilitation for his injuries.
