Our Cambodia Vision Trip
Donation protected
Hello,
Our names are Erin and Serene Cha. We are current college and high school students with a vision to give back to a community that has become a special part of our lives. In the summer of 2015, we visited two schools in Cambodia with our family as a part of an individual mission to deliver any relief to children in the form of books, crafts, and games. The trip was a wonderful stepping stone for imagining what we could do to continue to make an impact in a community in need.
This December, we plan on taking a trip to Kep, Cambodia. It is around 4 hours away from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. We have recently gotten in touch with Hun Sen Chamkardaung High School, a school in a rural area with over 1000 students. The vision of this high school is to "develop a place for developing human potential in order that our pupils become good citizens". Their mission is to " create a completely learner-friendly environment by all means possible". Our goal is to develop a relationship with the students, and share ways to improve their daily aspects of their lives, such as hygiene - a critical health concern in third world countries. We hope to bring toothbrushes, floss, soap, and other hygiene products to explain the procedure to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We also hope to provide basic school supplies and help teach english to the students at Hun Sen Chamkaradaung High School. Your donations to this cause would go explicitly and solely towards the purchase of these supplies. These supplies are greatly needed and will go directly to the foundation, ensuring the students of a better learning environment. If you have any inquiries regarding the trip, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Thank you for taking the time to read our vision and we hope you can join us in our mission.
