Sequoia's Study Abroad Experience

In July 2018, I was accepted into the USAC program to study abroad in Bangalore, India. I had worked two jobs all summer and I am currently working in order to save money for my tuition at Humboldt State University, where I go to school, and my future expenses for studying abroad.  After budgeting I still come up short! I have worked hours and hours, and have applied to multiple scholarships. You guys are my last resource.

I have till the end of October to raise what is I have left and am asking for your help (there may be something in it for you :) ). Anyone who donates $50 (or more) will get 1/2 dozen of your choice of Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, or Sugar Cookies delivered to your home! (Donate $100 and you will get a whole dozen).

Why I chose India:
There are tons of destinations to choose from when applying to the USAC program. When I was making my decision there were multiple factors I needed to choose from; price, location, safety. But most important to me are the opportunities to volunteer. India has just that. Their main selling point is that there are several opportunities for me to help and get involved in the local community around me. No specific groups have been given to me yet but I will update you all as soon as they become available to me.
