Jump Start the Sequoia Community Center!

Housed within the historic two-room Sierra School of Badger, CA, in the remote Sierra foothills, the Sequoia Community Center will foster inclusive community participation in arts, education, recreation, celebration and wellness opportunities in order to increase personal and collective growth in our local communities.
The plans to create the non-profit Sequoia Community Center are underway with the focus of on-going community meetings and discussions. Once the Sequoia Community Center is granted non-profit status, it will be able to apply for grants and corporate contributions to help sustain it.
Some of activities and programs under development: a high-speed internet cafe, mobile medical/dental services, space to host events locally (lectures, farmers markets, concerts), fitness classes, community gatherings and more!
HOWEVER, the project needs immediate funds to start the ball rolling. That's where YOU can help!
THIS IS THE TIPPING POINT!! The Sequoia Community Center project needs the community's support to move the work forward and bring these awesome opportunities to our area.
