Okontoe Septic System Repair & Upgrade

Tax deductible
The supporters and friends of Okontoe Fellowship want to see the ministry God laid on the hearts of the Barr/Patten families continue far into the future.

But we now face a unique challenge…

The campground is aging and the facilities are in need of some major upgrades. The DC buildings need to be updated and refurbished. Some out-buildings need to be replaced or upgraded.

We can deal with these projects within Okontoe’s operating budget and with the help of staff and volunteers. The problem we face is our need to get building permits from Cook County to do most of these projects—but we can’t get the permits until the septic systems are brought up to code.

There are about eighteen outhouses or septic systems located throughout the campground that need to be upgraded or abandoned.

This amount is greatly beyond Okontoe’s operating budget, as you can imagine. And yet, our inability to get building permits has reached a critical point since many buildings need attention very soon.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to spiff-up Okontoe together for its 50th anniversary in 2021?

As you continue your prayer support of this ministry, would you seek God’s guidance regarding a special gift to Okontoe to get the septic systems up to code?

We greatly appreciate you considering this opportunity to partner with us in the ongoing ministry of Okontoe Fellowship.

In Christ,
