<div><strong>Ten months ago, you helped us survive the beginning. Today, we're asking for help finishing the journey home.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When Peter was suddenly forced to rebuild his life in Mérida, Mexico, this community stepped in. The <strong>$5,074 already raised</strong> helped turn an overwhelming beginning into something real: a home base, essential living and legal expenses, and the chance to begin again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>That help worked. Peter is established in Mérida. Now it's time to bring Freddy—and our four cats—home.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Freddy must leave our Miami apartment at the end of August. He is working, moving our belongings into storage, selling what we can, and continuing to earn toward the transition. We're not sitting still waiting to be rescued—we're doing everything we can ourselves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The hardest part is getting our cats safely to Mexico. The airline allows <strong>one cat per traveling passenger</strong>, so our four cats cannot simply come with Freddy on one flight. Bringing them home requires several trips while Freddy continues working in Miami and caring for the cats still waiting their turn.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are now raising approximately <strong>$4,926</strong> more to complete this final stage. The funds will help cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>temporary housing in Miami while the transition is completed;
</div>
<div>the flights and pet travel costs needed to bring all four cats safely to Mérida;
</div>
<div>final moving, storage and essential closing expenses;
</div>
<div>and a modest landing cushion so Freddy doesn't complete the move with nothing left.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We've increased the overall campaign goal to <strong>$10,000</strong> because the original $5,074 represents Phase I—the help that got Peter established. <strong>This final $4,926 is Phase II: bringing the rest of our home together.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're close enough now to see the finish line.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you're able to give, thank you. If you've already helped us, please know that your kindness brought us this far. And if donating isn't possible, <strong>sharing this fundraiser with someone who may connect with our story is an enormous help.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every gift now moves one more piece from waiting to home.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>
<div><strong>Peter &amp; Freddy ❤️</strong>

<div><strong>El Camino a Casa — Las Últimas Millas</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Esa ayuda funcionó. Peter ya está establecido en Mérida. Ahora falta traer a Freddy —y a nuestros cuatro gatos— a casa.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>alojamiento temporal en Miami mientras terminamos la transición;
</div>
<div>vuelos y costos de viaje necesarios para traer a nuestros cuatro gatos de forma segura a Mérida;
</div>
<div>gastos finales de mudanza, almacenamiento y cierre;
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Con amor y gratitud,
</div>
<div><strong>Peter &amp; Freddy</strong> ❤️
