Seoul Power: Send Akilah to Korea
Hello,
My name is Akilah , I would love to take you with me on my journey to becoming an Olympic Gold Medalist.
I am 14 years old, and I am a Taekwondo athlete. I started training when I was 7 at Yi Sport. I realized I wanted to be an Olympian around the time I turned 13 years old. As I started getting older and going to tournaments people started noticing that I was talented. This is when I realized that my coach wasn't just saying this that other people were saying it and seeing this in me too. I feel like if I push myself I will be the best.

I train 4 days a week and sometimes 5. I have been training hard this year to be succesful in competing in two National tournaments representing Washington State.

In doing so I have traveled to California, Oregon, and Texas for tournaments and additional training. This year I have the opportunity to train at the Olympic Training Center for a week!

I have been given the opportunity to train for two weeks this summer in Seoul, Korea! I am asking for your help to get me there.
I will be posting pictures and videos with updates on my progress. I will be sending love and gratitude to all my supporters.
