COMPLETE! Sensory GoBags Eagle Proj For Kids In Foster Care
Donation protected
Think of going into the foster system and having to carry your stuff from home to home in trash bags. Imagine being autistic and being sensorily challenged. There are hundreds of kids in the foster care system with sensory issues, and they are carrying their stuff around in trash bags. My name is Rafael Cox and I want to change that for 30 or more kids.
The solution is simple: a GoBag. It's a personal duffle bag which holds a weighted blanket and other sensory items. If you want to see everything that's included, please watch our video. My sister and I go through the bag and what's included.
I am a Life Scout in Scouts BSA Troop 229, Cascade Pacific Council. I am hoping to raise at least $4,000 for at least 30 (or more) GoBags for children in foster care with special needs, including those with autism and ADHD. We do hope to raise more than $4,000 if possible, maybe even $5,000 or $6,000, to really help kids in the foster care system.
Any amounts raised over the goal of $4,000 will be put toward additional GoBags, and/or given to the Multnomah County Human Services for the direct benefit of kids in the foster care system.
My project and this fundraiser have been approved by the Cascadia District of the Cascade Pacific Council, BSA.
Thank you so much for your support!
