Senior Vocalists New Orleans Trip

The Senior Vocalists from the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts High School have been fundraising all year for their trip to New Orleans in May. This trip is intended to be both a reward for the students upon completion of their Senior Recital and a culturally-enriching educational experience.
While in New Orleans the students will be participating in a Preservation Hall masterclass with professional Jazz musicians, visiting the New Orleans African American Museum, exploring Mardi Gras World, boating down the Honey Island Swamp, and learning about the birth of jazz on a Music Gumbo walking tour through the French Quarter. Along with the many planned excursions, the students will be immersed in the unparalleled music and food culture of New Orleans.
