Senior Citizen Meals on Wheels due to Coronavirus

As the owners of a restaurant/bar in Macedonia. Iowa during this Coronavirus pandemic we have felt the decline in business. However we feel there is more important things then making money right now. We have decided to start a meals on wheels program during this time to service the senior citizens in the 4 towns near us(Macedonia, Carson, Henderson and Oakland). Alot of them rely on us for their daily meals when we were open to the public and we didnt want to forget them in their time of need. The meals and delivery of meals to their homes is 100% free. We will be offering them a meal at lunch and at supper. We do have a good amount of food right now but with us only open to curbside orders are sales havent been very good. Several people have requested to donate to this cause and due to our food license restrictions we cant take in outside food from personal people. What we could use the most is money in order to purchase more food from our food vendors and gas for our deliveries. We are going to do our best on our own to keep this going and stay open as long as we can, but if someone wants to help out with the cause we will not say no. As of the 29th of March we are delivering 90 meals a day. Thanks you so much for everyone's support.
