Send Sammy to Kenya!

Hello and welcome! My name is Sammy Bellamy and I have been chosen to participate in the Balloon Kenya program for six weeks this summer. This program brings together young people from around the world to work with local entrepreneurs in Kenya to grow businesses and change lives. Social entrepreneurship is my passion, and this is an incredible opportunity to practice and execute all of the skills that I've been learning in a classroom at Elon University for the past few years. This program involves a week of intensive training, followed by proposing and launching new ventures within the community, testing them in the real world, and seeking funding. I am hoping to do my small part in fighting global poverty through entrepreneurship. To make this happen, I am asking for $5,000 to cover the cost of the program and the plane ticket (or if you just want to get rid of me for six weeks)! Donations of any size are appreciated.
