Send Rianna to Brazil!

Hi, family and friends!

I first visited Brazil in July of 2011, and was immediately captivated by the good food, warm people, and most of all, how real God was to me over there.  It's hard to believe that trip was nearly 5 years ago, and since then I have graduated from UC Irvine, got my first real job, decided to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy, graduated from one year in HRock Church's School of Supernatural Ministry, and visited Ghana, Africa!  One thing that has stayed the same is my love for Brazil.  When I left Brazil that first summer (and the summers I returned in 2012 and 2013, as well) I had a strong sense that God's call for me there was unfinished, and that I would be back.  Now, here I go yet again!

I am going with two of my best girlfriends, Alyssa Gozun and Stephanie Chow, for six months, leaving this June 2016!  We will be partnering with an organization called 27 Million that is dedicated to fighting to see the abolition of human trafficking worldwide.  Many of us may not know too much about this issue, but it is a real, current, and global issue - it is estimated that 27 million people are enslaved today, and the average age of a girl that is sex trafficked is 12-14 years old.  Heartbreaking.  I am thankful for the work 27 Million is doing and I am honored to partner with them in Brazil during our trip.  The timing is especially significant because Brazil is hosting the Olympic Games this summer, which unfortunately puts the young girls at higher risk to be trafficked as an influx of people enter the country.  We will be focusing on raising awareness through distributing printed material, outreaching in at-risk communities with strong pimp and prostitute cultures, showing a short video on the issue throughout the airport through a project sponsored by the United Nations, and much more.

Most of all, I need your prayers.  Please support me by praying for boldness on my part in sharing the love of Jesus, open doors for support of 27 Million by the Brazilian government (which is very corrupt), and for physical and spiritual protection as I take this huge step and leave home for the longest period of time I ever have to do the wildest thing I have ever done!

Additionally, I need to raise $6,000 for airfare, housing, and meals for this trip.  Any amount is very much appreciated in helping me reach this goal, and your generosity means so much to me!
All purchases made from www.etsy.com/shop/kanoelanicalligraphy will also help to fund my trip!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.  All glory to God!

With love and gratitude,
