Anyone who knows Jonathan knows that he has always had a strong love and an amazing natural talent for soccer. This summer, he had the privilege of attending the FC Barcelona Soccer camp. On June 20, we received notification that Jonathan was one of the less than 10% of 5000+ players from the US that have been hand-selected to join the Barcelona All Star Squad for the U.S. These players have been invited to travel to Barcelona, Spain (September 2-11, 2017) to receive exclusive training at the FC Barcelona professional facilities with the FC Barcelona coaches. The All Star Squad will have the opportunity to train on the same fields with the same coaches that have produced some of the greatest soccer talent such as Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, and Pique.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is a 9-day journey to Barcelona that will provide Jonathan with intense training in the Barcelona soccer methodologies, the chance to play competitive games against top soccer clubs in Barcelona, the opportunity to watch two live "La Liga" soccer games, and a tour of the historical district of Barcelona while learning the culture and values of FC Barcelona. The opportunity for Jonathan to travel to Barcelona and train with some of the best coaches and play amongst some of the most elite soccer players in the world is a dream come true. It would be such a blessing to be able to send him. This opportunity would provide him with ample growth and skill development allowing him to reach his full potential.

The cost for the training is $2695
We will also need to pay for airfare for myself and Jonathan, we are looking at $2000-$3000 depending on when we are able to book the tickets. The family member package is an additional $995 and I haven't had the opportunity to look into lodging at the moment but it will be another expense as well.
