2018 Mission Trip

Hi, friends!!! Hopefully this has reached people that do not personally know me, so with that in mind I want to give you a bit of back story about myself before jumping straight to asking you for a donation!!
My name is Jewel, I'm 19 (20 in just a few days!!!!), a full time student at Latech in Ruston, La, and also a student at Destiny Leadership Institute (bible college).
From my earliest days, I have known Jesus and loved Him. I got saved when I was 8, and had a real encounter with Him when I was 14 and never looked back. I have known for most of my life that I am called to spread the gospel in whatever setting God has for me to work in. For most of my life, the field of play has been in classrooms as I have only ever been a student (okay, I've done my fair share of teaching, too because I am a bit tenacious, especially when I know I am supposed to be doing something) until this point. However, in all of the "small" (nothing is small in the kingdom!) things I have done, I have known that God was pruning me and maturing me for something much "bigger". With me stepping into a whole new decade of life this week, I know that God is doing a new thing and is opening the door for all kind of adventure to unfold!
With that being said, I have started this campaign with the intent to raise funds for a mission trip this summer! I know that God has called me to the nations, and to seek justice, so this summer, I will be spending a month working with a foundation located in Mozambique Africa called Project Purpose. Project Purpose takes in victims of trafficking, and child prostitution and gives them the necessities to build a better life, and come to know and love Jesus. My heart leaps out of my chest when I think about this!!! I just know I have got to get in on it, and you should too!!!! You can join me on this journey by sowing monetarily into my life, and/or by covering me with prayer! These are both crucial!! I need prayer backing just as much as I need funding!!!!!
Any amount that you want to give would help tremendously! The money will strictly be used for things like plane tickets, visas, meals, traveling expenses, etc., and the left over will be kept in an account for future trips/ or sown into other missionaries! I have watched God turn so many of my daydreams into reality these last few years, and I know He is working the same kind of miracle in this situation right now!!!
Thank YOU so much for taking the time to read this and thinking and praying on what/ how to give! Any seed sown here will certainly be planted and tended to. It will even be flown across the ocean and sown in other countries, on different continents!! It is good soil and I have the utmost confidence that The Lord will be faithful to finish all that He has started.
