Sending Love and Support to the Statons

Jay Staton lived his life with courage, spirit, passion, humor, friendship, and sarcasm.  He believed in the importance of family and friends. The Staton home was always the place to gather and celebrate with Jay at the center.  All those who knew Jay saw a gentle man who loved his Tar Heels, his Mich Ultra, grilling out, and most passionately his wife, Maggie, and sons, Trey and Austin. Jay was so proud of his boys and was an amazing father.  He led by example and was a powerful role model.  After 5.5 years of fighting, Jay left this world, leaving behind many people who loved him and who will carry on his memory.  I am establishing this go fund me on behalf of Jay's family for those that are looking for a way to help or to support the Statons,   The money donated would be used mainly to pay down medical bills, but also to cover funeral costs and other financial burdens at this time.  
Thank You for all your prayers and support over the years. Jay surely felt your love.
