Charlie's Worlds Trip 2017

My name is Charlie Hamblin and I am a competitive roller figure skater from Portland, Oregon. This year at the Roller Figure Skating National Championships, I qualified for the World Championships, to be held in Nanjing, China. I'll be there to compete from August 28 to September 6. I qualified as the Gold medalist in both Junior World Class Men's Solo Dance and Junior World Class Men's Figures. I qualified in 2013 and 2016 also, making this my third world championships.

I am excited to represent the United States, the Northwest region, and the Oaks Skating Club at the World Championships again. However, training, travel and lodging costs are substantial. I have and will be fundraising through fundraising events, online donations, and other fundraising opportunities.


I ask you to help me reach my fundraising goal by late August. Every contribution counts! Last year surplus donations were used for future skating expenses, but since this year is my last, all excess funds will be split 50/50 and donated to the Oaks Skating Club and the Northwest Roller Skating Foundation.
