"Hello, my name is Robert Tyson and I have been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM. I was nominated based on my scholastic merit, leadership potential, high motivation and exceptional maturity.
By attending this program, I will join other motivated students from around the country and will be enabled to further my interest in the field of medicine, engineering and crime scene investigation.
Imagine if you had been given this opportunity for a life-changing experience when you were in school and were unable to participate for lack of funds. That is why I am writing to you today.
My participation in the program depends on whether I can raise $2,000.00 in sponsorships. This covers tuition and my program expenses. I am investing every dollar I can of my own money to make sure I don’t miss out on this unique experience. My tuition must be paid no later than April 7, 2015.

It is my pleasure to inform you that Shawn has been nominated by Ms. Barbara Porter of Caughman Road Elementary school to participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum(NYLF): Pathways to STEM, an Envision program to be held out at William Peace University in Raleigh, NC this Summer 2015.
Only the brightest, most highly motived students are singled out by their teachers for nomination to the NYLP Pathway to STEM. The program is designed to give future leaders an unprecedented opportunity to discover their personal strengths and will be held the summer of 2015 at the William Peace University in Raleigh, NC.
Shawn will have the opportunity to explore a future career in engineering, medicine and detective work. This is an opportunity that Shawn can not take without your support.
