Puerto Rico needs nurses. Here I am

Last month I had the opportunity to provide support to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Seeing people pull together to provide assistance to these folks who have lost everything was very moving. I was able to go through the Red Cross (RC). They covered my travel, food and lodging. As awful as it was in Texas, the support and supplies just kept rolling in. Truck after truck, church after church...food, water, clothing, medical supplies. The support and resources  were amazing. On my last day in Texas, I watched the news for the first time since my arrival. It was coverage on Puerto Rico. I knew I had to get there. Unfortunately, the Red Cross has been stretched thin with all the disasters. My regional contact has been deployed to the Southwest to assist with the grief sticken community.  I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for him to return to deploy me. I want to go help NOW! With my background in nursing, compassion and energy, I know I will be a good fit to bring aid to these people. They do not have churches driving down with an abundance of supplies in big trucks. They need our help now! Through a dear friend of mine, Nani Baran, I have been in contact with One Human Family Coalition. They have been working hard and have just opened their doors on October 14th for a free hospital/clinic in Quebradillas, PR. They are in desperate need of medical personnel and supplies. These people are dying and need care now! I am willing to donate the next 3 1/2 weeks of my time to them. But I will need YOUR support. They are not able to provide food, or transportation. I will also be missing work and not getting any income coming in. Please donate $10, $20, whatever you can do to help cover my expenses.
