He was on the honor roll throughout high school, demonstrating leadership as an athlete on the soccer field, as a scholar in Advanced Placement classes and as a humanitarian by completing more than 140 hours of service to the community though his church and local organizations. Last week he graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.56, which earned him membership in the National Honors Society.
For these accomplishments, at graduation Andrew was awarded Foundation Academy’s prestigious Knight Award, a $5,000 scholarship. In total, Andrew has earned $20,118 in grants and scholarships in support of his studies at Rutgers, leaving him with a remaining $13,874 of unmet need for the coming school year. This must be raised by July 30th, 2017.
As a friend, I am committed to ensuring that Andrew attend Rutgers this fall without the burden of student loans, if at all possible. And with this campaign, I am inviting others to participate in Andrew's continued academic success.
No gift is too small; every dollar counts, enabling you to become part of this young man's pursuit of his dreams.
The money collected in this campaign will go to Rutgers University in the form of a check. John Salvetta, college advisor at Foundation Collegiate Academy, will make arrangements to get the check delivered. If we exceed our goal, the extra will be used to cover the costs of books and lab supplies.
