Send UNL Slam Poetry to National Tournament

UNL's Slam Poetry Team is headed to Houston, TX to compete at the College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational at the University of Houston, April 10-14. Our team raises the majority of their funding by ourselves, so every tiny bit someone donates helps us travel, eat, and have a place to stay while the tournament is going on. These poets (Celie Knudsen, Jax Lindstrom, Bianca Swift, Celine Haynes, and Jack Buchanan) are incredibly talented and very dedicated to making a better world one poem at a time. If you care about the arts, about raising the consciousness of our society, or about any of these young people and their coach (Stacey Waite), please consider buying them a meal, or a small piece of their plane ticket or lodging fees this year!
