Hey friends! We're so excited to share an upcoming event that is significant for The Rainier House and also for our beautiful state of Washington!
THE STORY:
If you know any of us (Chad, Desi, AJ & Robyn), you know that we love community and believe that God is really good! So as an overflow of those two things, we're partaking in a huge venture and need you to join - HELP US GO TO AWAKEN THE DAWN IN WASHINGTON DC IN OCTOBER!
Awaken the Dawn (ATD) is an event in DC this October where we will have 50 tents simultaneously filled with worship and prayer from each state - day and night for 4 days straight... Like without stopping even at 3am! We have the amazing opportunity of being the State Coordinators for the WA tent (one of the 50), and so we've been mobilizing ministries, churches and houses of prayer from across the PNW to come out October 6-9 to staff our WA tent!
As housemates, we have all been so blessed to see God moving in the Northwest and in our specific communities, and this is just an extension of the greater prayer and worship movement in our nation. The point of this event isn't just to gather or just to make a statement. It's not a political agenda or a belief that this is the only way to do ministry. WE DO IT BECAUSE JESUS IS WORTHY AND BECAUSE PRAYER AND WORSHIP SHIFT THE ATMOSPHERE. We do it because God is amazing, people are amazing, and worshipping for 4 days straight on behalf of our State with 49 other tents is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Our lives and even this last year of community at The Rainer House is a testimony that prayer changes everything! We're honored and humbled to represent our State on the National Mall in DC.
We'll also be hosting a PNW regional gathering in Seattle on September 9th to mobilize towards October and get some family time with believers from across WA - ask us about it!

THE GOAL :
To make this trip happen for the 4 of us, and to support the WA State Tent, we need some funding!!
Our target goal is $5000, and we could use up to $10,000+ to help with other individuals attending from WA and the costs of the event! God always provides, so we're stepping out in faith knowing that we are called to this moment and must go! Whether or not you can join us in DC, you can play a huge part in sending the 4 of us and contributing towards WA state.
INCENTIVE #1:
To make this fun and earn a little bit of our way, we have a couple of "rewards" depending on how much we raise:
AJ & Chad WILL RUN A MILE FOR EVERY $100 RAISED, with no cap on mileage!!! #ultramarathon #fundraising #crazybutworthit
Rules: AJ and Chad get one bike between them and will complete all of the necessary miles. For example, if we raise $5000, Chad and AJ will venture through the Puget Sound to complete 50 continuous miles between them, in one day, with only a bike and two pairs of shoes as their vehicles (so each would run ~25 and also bike ~25)! The run is scheduled for Wednesday September 20, so please donate before then!
Note: If we're able to raise over our goal of $5k, AJ and Chad reserve the right to add an additional 24hrs to complete the mission if required (<50miles = 24hrs, >50 miles = 48hrs)... :)
INCENTIVE #2:
If you (or your family) donate $500 or more you will get a personalized dinner experience compliments of the Rainer House Master Chefs (Robyn & Desi).
