Who we are: A 501C3 organization based in the US. The Jamaica Lacrosse Association has a vision – to put a stick in every young person’s hand that wants to learn the game and to ensure that young people have access to the very best coaching and training possible. Since 2014, the organization has benefited from a consistent group of passionate volunteers working diligently to educate young people and adults alike about the joys of the game. We are a community nonprofit, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to use the sport as a platform to engage the youth through strategic lacrosse partnerships, facilitate all national teams and provide much-needed resources to educate, outfit and offer an opportunity to players, coaches and officials.

How the Funds are Being Used: Funds raised through the Go Fund Me Site will go towards:
1) Equipment and uniforms, including practice uniforms, sports bras and cleats.
2) Accommodations for 18 girls + coaches while at the World Championship tournament.
3) Meals while traveling in Canada
4) Airfare
5) General operating needs (shipping, printing, etc.)
Our Story:
We are making history, and invite you to join us. In August 2019, the first women's Jamaican Lacrosse team will compete on the global stage during the World Championships in Canada. The U19 Training Team for Jamaica has been selected, our nationally recognized coaches are confirmed and the training schedule is booked. We need your help to ensure this first team has the resources they need for success. We are raising money to help get the girls to Canada. The remainder of our fundraising supports travel and accommodations.
If you have ever had a stick in your hand, you know the value of having solid equipment. If you have ever cheered for your child from the sidelines of a lax field, you know how important the game is to strengthening a child's character. If you have ever coached a child, you know the strength that comes from being on a supportive team.
