Send the Ice Bears to Nationals!

The Missouri State Ice Bears have made it to the 2017-18 ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Nationals! The Ice Bears have ended their regular season at #17 and will now journey to Columbus, Ohio to compete among the top 20 teams in the nation from March 8th-13th. This will be the first time that the Ice Bears have competed at the ACHA National Tournament since becoming a Division 1 team in 2015.

It has been a strong fight to get where they are. The MSU Ice Bears were the top moving team in the ACHA this season , moving up 13 spots (ranked #30 at the end of the  2016-17 season) to end the 2017-18 regular season at #17.  This is Head Coach Jeremy Law's first year with the Ice Bears, and he plans to take them all the way to #1.

The Ice Bears need your help. They are a club team, meaning that the players pay to play. The team is not funded by the university. The player fees that all the players pay go toward funding the regular season for costs such as ice time, travel, and equipment Help is needed to cover the cost of the bus, lodging, and food for the trip to Nationals.  It is estimated to cost $20,000 to cover all necessities. Any amount is much appreciated!

The tournament is less than 3 weeks away. We need as much money as possible in advance to pay for the trip. We are looking at closing the r GoFundMe on Monday the 26th so that we can get the money in time. Please consider giving.
