Send the Federal Way 10U Hawks to Canton HOF

The Federal Way Hawks 10U Youth Football team has received a great opportunity to compete at a national level. We have been invited to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Youth Championship, which takes place in Canton Ohio in December. We need your help to get us there. To get 23 kids to Ohio, room & board them will cost a huge  amount but we are determined to make it happen. Lets put Federal Way on the map. Go Hawks!!!

I have coached for the Federal Way Hawks for the past 11 years and  have coached most of these kids for the past 3 years. Last season we only had 12 kids on the roster and played some games with 11, this built their no quit attitude. This season we grew to 23 and we had no idea what we could achieve when practice started. It became clear very quickly we had something special, these kids bonded quickly and begun to play like a cohesive team. We ended our season 9-1 and headed into the NW Regional's this past weekend  where we competed against 2 top teams in their respective league, and came out on top winning both games. These kids played hurt, and sick. They gave everything they got and more and it showed. With the adversity they faces this season with one of our players lost his mother (and wife of one of our coaches) earlier in the season, he followed her wishes and continued on playing. With her funeral last week this young man showed up and played his heart out for his mother. We have dedicated this season to Liny Dannis-Frost and want end it with a bang in Ohio.   We are building more then a team we are building a family.
